El hotel KUNTUR WASSI, develops its activities in harmony with the population of Cabanaconde. Among its objectives is the support of education and sport. As main activities it has organized different contests between students and teachers of the educational centers, awarding prizes such as computers, and forming libraries in the different educational centers. Also, as a promotion of tourism, it has organized international sports competitions, such as the Colca marathon.
Nearby natural viewpoints: Mirador de Tapay, San Miguel, Achachihua, Kallimarka from where you can see the splendor of the Colca Canyon.
